Sidr honey is a monofloral honey. The bees collect the nectar from flowers of the tree before they turn into fruit. The bees make their honeycombs in these frames and use them to collect the honey. Once enough honey is produced, the honey collection process begins.
Sidr honey also known as Beri ka shehad is one of the premium types of honey extracted from the oldest forests in the KPK region of Pakistan. It is traditionally harvested only in the pre-winter season by labor. In Pakistan, the harvesting takes place between the months of September and October only. They are slightly expensive than other raw organic honeys as it is harvested for a limited time in the year
